The receptionists spoke three languages, but unfortunately they didn't offer a translation service for the local dialect. I had a great time renting a bicycle and then a car, because who wants to choose just one mode of transportation? The view from the holiday home was stunning, especially when I managed to steal a city's worth of WiFi. The air conditioning was a savior in the scorching heat, and the washing machine was my new best friend. The staff were always there, practically attached at the hip. And oh, how I adored stuffing my face with the buffet breakfast every morning, definitely needed to stretch my stomach for the rest of the day. Those towels in the holiday home were like famous celebrities, featured everywhere I turned.

The decoration at Casa Ingoglia was absolutely charming. The traditional Sicilian style, with beautiful ceramics and colorful tiles, made me feel like I was truly immersed in the local culture. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, with comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the view. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had easy accessibility, with ramps and handrails in place to ensure my safety and convenience.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be having more assistance from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, it would have been nice to have someone available specifically to assist us with any special needs or inquiries that we may have had.

The layout of the apartment was fantastic, with the bonus of an extra bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom was spacious with a large wardrobe. The little bonus room off the bedroom was perfect for getting ready. The kitchen was well equipped and the owners even left pastries, tea, and coffee for us. The apartment was extremely clean and we will definitely book to stay again. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. The showers were fantastic.
